Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging device (100) according to an embodiment includes: a collection unit (15a) which collects a plurality of pieces of data by applying an inverted pulse for labelling longitudinal magnetization in synchronization with a subject's heartbeat and collecting data a plurality of times while changing an inversion time, which is the time from the inverted pulse to data collection; and a derivation unit (15b) which successively calculates the magnitude of the longitudinal magnetization for each heartbeat at which the inverted pulse has been applied using the plurality of pieces of data and a given heartbeat interval or a heartbeat interval measured from the subject when the data was collected, and derives a T1 value of a target tissue on the basis of the relationship between the calculated magnitude of the longitudinal magnetization and the inversion time.
