Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for calculating a weighting function which is required for synthesizing a plurality of images corresponding to a plurality of surface coils having a relatively high S/N ratio.
SOLUTION: In a magnetic resonance imaging device, a plurality of image data are reconstituted in accordance with an MR signal from a 31P compound which is detected by a surface coil set 8 including a plurality of distributed surface coils arranged around a subject 4 to be examined, and these image data are weighed and added together in accordance with a weighng function so as to produce image data having a relatively high s/N ratio. In this case, the weighing function is calculated from an MR signal from 1H having a density higher than that of 31P, detected by a uniform coil 5 and from an MR signal 1H detected by the surface coil set 8.
