Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform imaging positively utilizing the phenomenon of chemical exchange and/or cross mitigation between the plural kinds of nuclear pools represented by an MT effect by using the sequence of an IR sequence including inversion pulses.
SOLUTION: An inversion sequence including the inversion pulses is executed to a testee body placed in a magnetostatic field, and after the execution of the inversion sequence, an imaging sequence is executed so as to gather MR signals from the testee body. The frequency band width of the inversion pulses is set wider or narrower than a conventional using band width. The conventional using band width is 1000-1250Hz. The imaging sequence is the sequence for gathering the echo signals of an FLAIR method and a fast FLAIR method, etc.
