Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a process to be simplified for reconstituting a high definition image by estimating the second data on remaining slice planes from the same data prepared on such slice planes as corresponding to both parallel end sections.
CONSTITUTION: Regarding measurement data 11 obtainable from each parallel slice plane, data sliced through a low-pass filter from measurement data corresponding to both ends and approximately to a center section is two- dimensionally Fourier transformed, thereby providing the second data. Phase maps A1, A4 and An are prepared by calculating phase angles from the second data. In addition, phase maps A2, A3 and An-1 and An for slice planes not corresponding to the phase maps A1, A4 and An are estimated and prepared on the basis of each data thereof. In this case, the estimation can be easily undertaken, because the degree of a change is gradual in respective phase maps on the slice planes adjacent to each other. As a result, a process for reconstituting an image can be reduced with high definition state maintained, and also a time required the reconstitution can be substantially shortened.
