Title:
MAGNETIC RESONANCE INSERT GRADIENT COIL MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3702498
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily prepared and highly efficient gradient coil mechanism for magnetic resonance imaging device.
SOLUTION: A spatial area of a hole shape is formed by a dielectric 44 with the object of attaining an image of a specified material. Inclined coils 70, 80 for forming an inclined magnetic field are supported in the spatial area by the dielectric. The inclined coils 70, 80 are symmetrical at a center 64 of the excited inclined magnetic field and the coils are assembled as the inclined coil mechanism for magnetic resonant imaging device in such a way that they can be inserted. A cut area 62 is constructed at an end of the dielectric 44. The inclined coils 70, 80 contain coil parts 74, 82 corresponding to an external shape of the cut area 62. According to the construction, the inclined coils 70, 80 have an enough symmetrical relationship to the center 64 of the inclined magnetic filed, thus a coil length can be constructed longer. Thus, torque produced by the inclined coils 70, 80 are cancelled at a position opposing to the center.
