Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize a physiological function image at a relatively high accuracy by estimating base components during an uncertain active period based on hourly changes in pixel values of a magnetic resonance image taken during a rest period to reduce an adverse effect due to hourly changes in the base components.
SOLUTION: A receiving section 11 amplifies a magnetic resonance signal received to perform an orthogonal phase detection, a data collection part 13 converts the magnetic resonance signal to a digital signal and an electronic computer 14 reconstructs a magnetic resonance image data based on the magnetic resonance signal to be stored into an image data memory section 17. A physiological function image generation section 18 estimates base components during an active period based on hourly changes in pixel values of the magnetic resonance image data which is taken during the rest period based on the magnetic resonance image data for a plurality of frames of the image data memory section 17 and subtracts the estimated base components from the pixel values of the magnetic resonance image data during the active period to generate a physiological function image data.
