Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a noncontact rotary motion transmission having high transmission capacity which can transmit the rotary motion at accurate rotational angle while eliminating the play.
CONSTITUTION: A gap C is provided between a magnetic screw 2 and magnetic discs 4, 5 in order to realize noncontact transmission of rotary motion. Since a plurality of magnet segments 3 can be arranged, accurate noncontact transmission of rotary motion is realized while eliminating the play. The inventive transmission can be employed in a noiseless abrasion-free environment requiring cleanliness, e.g. a clean room.
