Title:
MAGNETIC SHIELD INDUCTOR, AND TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11176666
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a small-sized magnetic shield inductor which is easy of molding even if the thickness of the case mounted outside is thin and can get magnetic shield effect enough, and a transformer.

A magnetic shield inductor is composed of a drum-type core 1, a coil 5 wound on that core 1, a terminal (electrode) 6 provided at that core 5, and a pocket-type case 2 made of metallic material mounted on that core 5. Using metallic magnetic material for that case 2A will facilitate the molding even if that case 2 is thin. Moreover, since the metallic magnetic material is higher in transmissivity and saturation magnetic flux density than ferrite, magnetic shield effect can be obtained enough even if it is thin.
