PURPOSE: To shield the transmission to a sensor of an environmental magnetic field outside a hollow body and reduce the occurrence of measuring errors due to a high magnetic field in the circumference of the sensor, by internally installing the sensor for measuring in a hollow part of the hollow body consisting of a stacked body of a superconducting layer and a normal conducting metal layer.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical magnetic shield 1 used for temperature sensor is formed by a tube whose both ends are opened with a stacked body in which a superconducting layer 41 such as Nb-Ti alloy foil and a normal conducting metal layer 42 such as Al foil are stacked alternately, and a temperature sensor 2 is inserted into a hollow part 10 of the magnetic shield 1. Also, a lead wire 23 of the temperature sensor 2 is coated with a magnetic shielding pipe 1' consisting of the same stacked body, and a space between the hollow part 10 of the magnetic shield 1 and the temperature sensor 2 acts as a passage 8 of an external fluid. (for example, fluid helium or gas helium). Thus, the temperature of the external fluid can be measured by the temperature sensor 2 without being affected by an environmental magnetic field outside a hollow body.
