PURPOSE: To hold a stable tape running with simple constitution, by providing an elastic member on the first operation member provided with a magnetic head and operating the second operation member to position the first operation member surely.

CONSTITUTION: When a reproducing button is depressed to move the second operation member 6 in the direction of an arrow B, the first operation member 1 is moved together in the direction of the arrow B and is stopped in a position where end faces of long holes 1a and 1b are brought into contact with pins 5a and 5b. The second operation member 12 is turned clockwise around a pin 11 through an operation member 10 but is not pressed to a taper part 3a of an elastic member 3 on the first operation member 1. When the second operation member 6 is slided in the direction of the arrow B furthermore after the first operation member 1 is stopped, the first operation member 1 is energized downward, and the operation state of both operation members 1 and 6 is held. Thus, a stable tape running is held with simple constitution.
