Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the output difference of regenerative signals and the difference of floating clearance which are produced due to the difference of track lane length between the internal circumference and external circumference by interlocking a supporting board to fix a floating head and a positioning motor through a belt to rotate them. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic storage device composed of the disc medium 7 used for magnetic recording, the magnetic head 8 to be lifted during rotation, etc., the supporting board 10 to fix the floating head 8 and the positioning motor 16 are interlocked through the belt 13 to be rotated. For example when a metallic board 13 is fitted to the leading end side of a capstan 14 rotated by the positioning motor 16 and one end of the metallic board 13 is fixed on the rotational axis 12 of the magnetic head fixing board 10, the magnetic head 8 is moved in the radius direction of the disc medium 7 and simultaneously the shaft 12 is rotated in accordance with the rotation of the motor 16 to regulate the pressing force due to the supporting spring 9.
