Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of magnetic tape loading by a magnetic tape loader.
SOLUTION: A twisting coil spring 100 is attached to a pay-off reel side loading arm 70. A twisting coil spring 101 is attached to a take-up reel side loading arm 71. By sliding a loading cam 62 to a final stage, pins 65 and 66 push the arms of the twisting coil springs 100 and 101 to twist the twisting coil springs 100 and 101. The turning forces of the pay-off reel side loading arm 70 and the take-up reel side loading arm 71 are energized by forces F which are produced when post bases 75 and 83 are pressed against stoppers 95 and 96.
