Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic thermal recording medium that meets characteristics required for a hiding layer as a matter of course and has a low production cost and no possibility of blurring a fine line and generating white dot-form hickey in a solid printing part.

CONSTITUTION: A hiding layer 3 is made of mixed ink of a leafing aluminum paste 21 and a titanium dioxide 22. The leafing aluminum paste 21 tends to orient in parallel to the hiding layer 3, but has a low dispersibility in a single state and coheres on the surface of the hiding layer 3. However, mixing of the titanium dioxide 22 can enhance the dispersibility of the aluminum paste while keeping intact the tendency to orient in parallel.
