Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic ticket reader in which a carrier route is short, the jam of the magnetic ticket is prevented, a smooth carrier is performed and the processing of the magnetic ticket can be performed compactly in short time.
CONSTITUTION: In a magnetic ticket reader inserting a magnetic ticket from a port 3, carrying the ticket within a carrier route 15 by using carrier carrier means 6 and 7, and recording and reproducing an information signal on the magnetic ticket by the magnetic heads 13A and 13B situated on the carrier route 15, a switch member 12 guiding the magnetic ticket in the different direction from that of the port 3 when the magnetic ticket is inversely carried on the carrier route between the port 3 and the magnetic magnetic heads 13A and 13B.
