Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the magnetic toner which is excellent in transporting property and developing property, good in workability, easily has magnetic anisotropy and to provide its production method.

CONSTITUTION: The granular magnetic powder 91 having ≤200 oersted coercieve force is impressed by the magnetic field having ≥2 times coercieve force, e.g. ≥500 oersted in a molten (fluid) state to magnetize and orient the granular magnetic powder 91, and after cooling and solidifying, demagnetized once, then pulverized. The material is screened magnetically and impressed simultaneously by the magnetic field having ≥2 times coercieve force, e.g. 5≥00 oersted, to magnetize and the magnetic toner is obtained.
