To provide a magnetic torque transmission device inhibiting the transmission of negative torque from a drive shaft to a driven shaft in a state of losing synchronism and generating a constant pressing force in a forward direction.
The magnetic torque transmission device has a drive disk 160 which is screwed to the drive shaft 120 and on which magnetic north and south poles are alternately arranged at predetermined pitches in a circumferential direction, and a driven disk 130 which is mounted to the driven shaft 110 so as to be fixed in a rotation direction while being movable in an axial direction and on which magnetic north and south poles are alternately arranged at the predetermined pitches in a circumferential direction. The drive disk and the driven disk are arranged so that the magnetic poles are opposed to each other with a predetermined air gap left between them. The magnetic torque transmission device uses magnetic attraction and magnetic repulsion acting between the opposed magnetic poles and transmits rotational torque of the drive shaft 120 to the driven shaft 110. The driven disk 130 is biased in the direction of the drive disk 160 by a spring means 134 to solve the problem.
