Title:
MAGNETICALLY CENTERED TORQUE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3636437
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a limited angular displacement motor where a shaft has proper angle centering characteristics, without the assistance of independent magnetically centering mechanism.
SOLUTION: At a second axial direction position (24) of a stator (18), this motor (15) becomes driving magnetic constitution (23) wherein radial magnetic pole segments (35) spreads over the whole periphery of the stator, and the torque as a function of a current applied to a coil (19) is generated on a rotor (16). At a first axial direction position (21) of the stator, the motor is made centered of magnetic constitution where the magnetic pole segments are interlaced, so as to form a group, corresponding to a magnet of the rotor, and a torque as the function of rotor angle displacement (A) is generated on the rotor. Thereby centering function is obtained without special mechanism, and output torque of the rotor is increased.
