Title:
MAGNETICALLY CONNECTING PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3388308
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the life of a magnetically connecting pump, by hardly depositing a foreign matter between a rotary shaft part and a bearing surface, and suppressing the abrasion of the rotary shaft part and the bearing surface.
SOLUTION: A pump casing 3 is partitioned into a pump chamber 5 and a motor chamber 6 by a partitioning wall 9, and an impeller 7 is arranged in the pump chamber 5, and also a motor 10 by which the impeller 7 is rotated is arranged in the motor chamber 6. The impeller 7 is equipped with a rotary shaft part 73 having an enlarged end part 74 and an annular permanent magnet part 75 arranged surround the enlarged end part 74 of the rotary shaft part 73. A thrust bearing surface 95 brought into contact with the rear surface 74a of the enlarged end part 74 is formed on the partitioning wall 9. A plurality of balance holes 80 through which the front surface 74b and the rear surface 74a of the enlarged end part 74 are communicated with each other, is formed in the enlarged end part 74. Rear end surfaces 80a of respective balance holes 80 are partially overlapped on the thrust bearing surface 95.
