Title:
MAGNETICALLY CONNECTING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003190663
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce weight without complicating the structure of a main body of a structure and without increasing the size of the structure, to maintain high performance by improving the method of placing a magnet, to make the structure easy to use by controlling attracting power, to prevent a user's interest and concentration from being diminished when used as a toy, an educational tool, and a device for rehabilitation, and to connect the main bodies of the structure precisely and certainly.

The structure is equipped with the main body 1 of the structure made of a nonmagnetic, permeable, and lightweight foamed resin or the like and having linear connecting ends 11, 12, 13, 14 and a bar-shaped magnet 2 contained near the connecting ends 11, 12, 13, 14 inside the main body 1 of the structure each having an axis line parallel to the connecting ends 11, 12, 13, 14. The magnet 2 has both magnetic poles placed in the opposing positions of the diameter and can rotate around the axis inside the main body 1 of the structure. The main body of the structure formed to be thick in the center and thinner toward the peripheral part contributes to the control of the attracting power.
