Title:
MAGNETICALLY LEVITATING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3668626
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable magnetically levitating with a shorter axis length while a control system is simplified.
SOLUTION: Rotors 2a and 2b wherein, comprising a magnetic body, a permanent magnet 7 is fitted to the peripheral surface on one end side, a DC magnetic field generating means 4 which, provided on the side of stators 3a and 3b, distributes a bias magnetic flux which radially expands from the inside of the rotors 2a and 2b, first stator coils 5a and 5b for generating a bipolar levitation control magnetic flux for controlling the stators 3a and 3b for levitation, and a second stator coil 6 for setting a rotation magnetic field to the stator 3a, are provided. DC magnetic field from the DC magnetic field generating means 4 and the first stator coils 5a and 5b for levitation control are applied with a levitation control current so as to levitation-control the rotors 2a and 2b, and the second stator coil 6 provided adjoining the first stator coil 5a is electrified to provide a rotational force to the rotor 2a.
