Abstract:

To provide a magnetization device which can magnetize a magnet piece of a rotor differing in an outer diameter, magnet piece shape, magnetic pole number, etc., without causing an opposing magnetic field at an adjacent magnet piece.

A magnetization device includes: a first yoke 11 around which a first coil 11b is wound and has a first magnetization head 11a whose column direction width H is smaller than the column direction width K of a magnet piece 111; a second yoke 12 around which a second coil 12b is wound and positioned so as to be opposed to a column direction front side or column direction rear side of the magnet piece 111 which is separated from a predetermined magnet piece 111 by an odd number of magnet pieces when the first magnetization head 11a is positioned so as to be opposed to a column direction front side of the predetermined magnet piece 111, and has a second magnetization head 12a whose column direction width H is smaller than the column direction width K of the magnet piece; and a third yoke 13 which magnetically connects the first yoke 11 and second yoke 12 to each other.
