Abstract:
To form multiple trucks appropriately while restraining occurrence of magnetic interference between adjoining trucks at the time of magnetization, with regard to a magnetization device.SOLUTION: A magnetization device 1 magnetizes a portion corresponding to each truck Tr of a magnetic scale W including multiple trucks Tr. The magnetization device 1 includes a magnetic head 4, a work guide mechanism 6 for holding a magnetic scale W, and moving the magnetic scale W in the X direction relative to the magnetic head 4, and a drive mechanism 8. The magnetic head 4 includes multiple magnetization heads 32 located at positions corresponding to the trucks Tr of the magnetic scale W, respectively, and magnetizing the portions corresponding to respective trucks Tr. Out of these multiple magnetization heads 32, the magnetization heads 32 corresponding to the adjacent trucks Tr are mutually off-set in the Y direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
