Each permanent magnet 1 for the voice coil motor bipolarized and fixed to a yoke 8 is conveyed successively, and a magnetic viewer 3 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the permanent magnet 1 for the voice coil motor on a prescribed position, and a non-magnetized domain image reflected on the magnetic viewer 3 is photographed, and the quality of the magnetization state of the permanent magnet 1 for the voice coil motor is determined by performing image processing of the photographed image. When bringing the permanent magnet 1 for the voice coil motor into contact with the magnetic viewer 3, positioning is performed by inserting a positioning pin 10 formed on the upper surface of a pushing-up rod 9 for pushing up the permanent magnet 1 for the voice coil motor into a positioning hole 8a of the yoke 8.
