Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a magnetizing method for permanent magnet electric rotating machine by which the permanent magnet can be magnetized correctly by aligning the axis of the permanent magnet positively and accurately with the axis of magnetomotive force induced in the stator winding, and the operational efficiency can be enhanced by ensuring sufficient amount of magnetization while allowing highly accurate positional detection for the rotor.

CONSTITUTION: Positioning current is fed to the phase winding 2 of a stator 1 to induce magnetomotive force which, in conjunction with the suction of the coupling part 8 of a rotor 3, rotates the rotor 3 to a reference position. Subsequently, magnetizing current is fed to the phase winding 2 of the stator 1 thus magnetizing each permanent magnet 6.
