Abstract:
To provide a magneto-caloric element that can improve heat exchange efficiency, and to provide a thermomagnetic cycle device using the same.SOLUTION: A magneto-caloric element includes: a plurality of particles 81 made of a magneto-caloric effect material providing magneto-caloric effect; and a binder 82 for agglomerating and holding the particles. The magneto-caloric element is formed with a medium flow passage 1211 through which a heat transport medium can circulate. At a surface facing the medium flow passage 1211, the particle 81 has an exposure area that is larger than an exposure area of the binder 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
