Abstract:
To provide a magneto-optical disk which makes it possible to prevent the adherence of a magnetic head to the disk when a CSS system is applied and to obtain excellent CSS characteristics.
An ultraviolet curable resin protective layer 3 internally added with surfactant is formed on a recording magnetic layer 2, and a fluorine lubricant layer 4 is further formed on the protective layer. As the surfactant added to the protective layer, silicon surfactant having methyl fluoride group and modified with polyether is preferable.
