CONSTITUTION: This magneto-optical recording medium executes the recording/ reproducing/erasing by projecting the light to the amorphous magneto-optical recording medium in which the directions of the magnetization are perpendicular to the plane of the film and take the two values of upward or downward. The magneto-optical medium which has excellent initial characteristics, has high reliability and is less severe in the restrictions of sputtering conditions is thereby obtd.
