Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a magnetron of a high output as well as a low output by improving strap for the magnetron to prevent deformation and breakage for thermal stress as well as structural deviation from surrounding members in advance.
SOLUTION: Magnetron of this invention is composed of a number of anode vanes formed with ditches with different shapes on their upper and lower faces, ring-shaped copper-made outer straps that mutually connect anode vanes by making contact with every other ditches on upper and lower faces of the anode vane in order to form positive electric field on the anode vane, and inner straps that make contact with upper and lower faces of the anode vane with no contact with the outer straps to form a concentric circle inside the outer straps, being made of a material with a heat resistance higher than copper-made anode vane and with a heat expansion coefficient similar to that of the anode vane.
