PURPOSE: To reduce the increase of the number of vanes as the driving voltage is decreased by arranging the first rectangular vane group and the second L- shaped vane groups in turn.
CONSTITUTION: The first vane group 21 and the second vane groups 22 and 23 are provided in turn in an anode cylinder 20, a cathode section (shown by a broken line in the figure) is concentrically provided at the center of the anode cylinder 20. The first vane 21 has a rectangular shape, the second vanes 22 and 23 have an L-shape, the length of each vane in the anode cylinder tube axis direction facing the electron operating space is made the same. The second vanes 22 and 23 are arranged in different directions in turn. The increase of the number of vanes as the driving voltage is decreased can be made 2/3 of that in the past, manufacture is facilitated because the vane plate is made thick. The structure is simplified and assembling is facilitated because the second vane groups serve as a strap ring.
