Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the mail service system, which can arbitrarily set the number of mails to be serially transmitted and can recognize how many mails and how many pages are transmitted later, concerning the mail service system connecting plural FAX and plural telephone sets to a voice/FAX mail center equipped with a serial transmitting function to the voice mail and the FAX mail.

CONSTITUTION: At the voice/FAX mail center 10, a serial transmitting number setting means 1 is provided to set the number of mails to be serially transmitted for each connected FAX and telephone set, a total page number applying means 2 is provided to apply the total number of pages in the mail to be serially transmitted to each mail in addition to the number of pages for each mail in the case of the FAX, and a serial transmitting number announcing means 3 is provided to announce the number of mails to be serially transmitted at the beginning of distribution in the case of the voice mail.
