In addition, the Maillard reaction inhibitor is used for the skin care preparation, drink or food. This Maillard reaction inhibitor can be utilized for inhibiting the Maillard reaction, further imparts gloss and tension to skin, is effective for preventing and treating the skin, can be used for preventing and treating Maillard reaction-related diseases such as complications originated from diabetes, and can also be expected to have an aging-resistant effect and the like.
