Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a main motor for a vehicle in which an electrolytic corrosion of a bearing can be prevented by grounding a high frequency component current without intermediary of a frame of the motor, and employing a high frequency component current ground type for insulating a DC component current for the DC component current.
CONSTITUTION: A main motor 3 for an inverter-driven vehicle comprises a shield layer 4c connected to a ground side of an inverter outside a ground insulator around a coil and made of a conductor connected to a ground line 5 in such a manner that the layer 4c and a frame of the motor are insulated therebetween.
