Abstract:
To provide a main spindle of a machine tool capable of enhancing flexural rigidity.
The main spindle 10 of the machine tool is provided with an approximately cylindrical main spindle body 11 made of steel and multiple e.g. four cemented carbide reinforcements 12, 12 mounted at equal intervals on the periphery of the main spindle body 11. The flexural rigidity of the whole main spindle 10 is enhanced by the reinforcements 12.
