Abstract:

To lighten the frame of a motorcycle by extending a left stay and a right stay from a main stand and forming a left main stand bracket and a right main stand bracket individually so that the stand requires a left pivot and a right pivot shortened individually and that the frame requires no long pivots.

A motorcycle is mounted with a plurality of batteries between its left and right side members 2c extending longitudinally along its body on both sides, and a main stand 81 at the rear ends of these side members 2c. The motorcycle is provided on the side members 2c with main stand brackets 82L and 82R used for the attachment of the stand 81, and the stand 81 is formed at its left and right sides with stays 81a adapted to be journalled on these brackets 82L and 82R.
