Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify mounting and dismounting operations of a water flow generator in a water-intake jellyfish removal device.
SOLUTION: In the maintenance apparatus, a supporting frame 9 for a water flow generator 8 is erected on the open sea side of a net 10, for preventing jellyfish from flowing in, stretched over a water-intake port 1 and a corridor 11, which serves as a running way of a truck 7, is provided between the frame 9 and a curtain wall top part 4, and after the generator 8 is transported by the truck 7, the generator 8 is suspended by a chain block 6 and a boom 5 to lower it along a guide pipe 12 of the frame 9. Thus the water flow generator can be mounted or dismounted without using a large machine such as an offshore crane.
