Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the necessity of maintenance on the basis of a toner image of a print object image according to a maintenance correspondence location determined by a comparison of print data and data of a print result.SOLUTION: Provided is a maintenance control apparatus comprising: a first reading section for reading a toner image of a print object image; a second reading section for reading a print result of the print object image; an inspection determination section 23 for acquiring print data, comparing the acquired print data with data of the print result read by the second reading section, and thereby determining the existence or non-existence of a maintenance correspondence location; and a maintenance determination section 15 for, when the inspection determination section determines the existence of the maintenance correspondence location, comparing the toner image of the print object image read by the first reading section and the data of the print result read by the second reading section, and thereby determining the necessity of maintenance corresponding to the maintenance correspondence location.
