Abstract:
To facilitate control of an unmanned aircraft for performing a maintenance inspection for a structure, and to provide an unmanned aircraft capable of performing maintenance inspection work for a wall surface of the structure stably and accurately, and a structure maintenance inspection method using the unmanned aircraft.SOLUTION: There is provided an unmanned aircraft equipped with an unmanned aircraft body and wheels attached to the unmanned aircraft body, the wheels moving along a guide on a structure side, and a structure maintenance inspection method using the unmanned aircraft. By keeping a constant distance between the unmanned aircraft body and the wall surface of the structure in addition to putting a restriction on the moving direction of the unmanned aircraft body by the guide, the control of the unmanned aircraft body is facilitated, and stable and accurate maintenance inspection work is enabled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
