Abstract:
To provide a method to reliably maintain a polyvinyl chloride pipeline with fewer maintenance cycles.SOLUTION: A maintenance method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of cleaning the inside of a polyvinyl chloride pipe in a plurality of polyvinyl chloride pipelines connected to a wastewater collecting pipe in a facility, a step of drying, and a step of applying paint containing antibacterial agent inside the polyvinyl chloride pipelines. The step of applying paint containing antibacterial agent inside the polyvinyl chloride pipelines includes a step of pouring liquid paint through a drain, and a step of inserting a flexible rotating shaft member attached with a sponge-like member or a resin foam member near the tip from the drain so as to adhere paint containing antimicrobial agent to the polyvinyl chloride pipelines by pushing the sponge-like member or the resin foam member into the polyvinyl chloride pipelines while rotating the rotating shaft member by a power member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
