PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow one maintenance monitor terminal equipment to maintain and monitor plural multiplex communication equipments in the multiplex communication system to which plural multiplex communication equipments are connected.
SOLUTION: The system is configured in a way that plural multiplex communication equipments each of which is provided with a call control means 14 controlling a call by a common channel signal system, a multiplexer means 11 multiplexing plural communication data, a fixed address assignment means 12 assigning fixedly the multiplexed data to a multiplex channel 4, a dynamic address assignment means 13 assigning dynamically the multiplexed data to the multiplex channel 4, and a connection form changeover device 16 are interconnected with each other. A maintenance monitor terminal equipment 5 is connected to each equipment 1, a dynamic connection band 43 is secured to the channel 4 between the terminal equipment 5 and the equipment 1 to be maintained and monitored and they are interconnected according to a common channel signal system at maintenance and monitor and a call connection message is sent by using a common channel signal system band (Dp channel) 41 and the dynamic connection band 43 is used for usual communication at a time other than the maintenance and monitor.
