To provide a maintenance monitor for a roller mill by which monitor stress and variations in stress are estimated without installing a new load meter and based on the estimated results, the roller mill can be suitably maintained under control.
In this maintenance monitor for a roller mill in which on a pulverizing table 1 freely rotatably supported, pulverizing rollers 2 is arranged along the rotation direction of the pulverizing table 1 leaving a prescribed space, and the pulverizing roller 2 is pressurized to the pulverizing table 1 side by an hydraulic device to pulverize material to be pulverized, variations in pressure are measured from a pressure gage of the hydraulic device by a computer 51, and from the measured results, stress and variations in stress encountered in each part of the pulverizing part are estimated, and furthermore, from the estimated results, the degree of fatigue damage is estimated. Based on the estimated results of the degree of fatigue damage, inspection and/or replacement time of each part is predicted.
