Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a steel tower maintenance nut which is unnecessary for any special tools, capable of shortening the working time, and usable also for an existing steel tower.
SOLUTION: A maintenance nut is provided with one or a plurality of cylindrical covers 1 which have a lid with a hole of the diameter larger than the diameter of a bolt X cut therein and tightened by a nut in a steel tower, tapered inner rings which are screwed in a connection bolt and inserted in the hole of the cylindrical cover, and whose outer circumference is smaller toward the nut side, tapered outer nuts whose inner circumference is larger toward the nut side so as to be overlapped on the tapered ring, and screw holes 4 pierced in the bolt from the tapered outer nuts through the tapered inner rings, a fuse bolt 5 is screwed to the screw hole, and a head part of the fuse bolt is. cut to idle the tapered outer nuts.
