To provide an elevator maintenance system that prevents false report when removing a hall indicator to operate a maintenance box.
The elevator maintenance system includes: a maintenance box 1 to be used in maintenance of an elevator connected to a monitoring center, having a reporting function of reporting a failure to the monitoring center and stored in a wall of an elevator hall; a hall indicator 3 installed on the wall and connected to the maintenance box 1 during normal operation of the elevator and removed from the wall during maintenance of the elevator; and a reporting control means 7 for controlling the reporting function so that the reporting function is enabled while the hall indicator 3 is installed on the wall and that the reporting function is disabled when the hall indicator 3 is removed from the wall.
