PURPOSE: To obtain a make-up cosmetic having excellent water resistance, sweat resistance, oil resistance, excellent durability of make-up, slight make-up disorder, good slip and a refreshing feeling in use.

CONSTITUTION: The whole amount of a cosmetic is mixed with 2-50wt.%, preferably 2-30wt.% of an amino-modified or ammonia-modified polymer silicone shown by the formula {R1 is methyl or partially phenyl; R2 is methyl or O; R3 is R2 or R4Z [R4 is 3-6C alkylene; Z is NR52, N+R53A-, NR5(CH2)aNR52, NR5(CH2)aR+R53A- or NR5(CH2)aN(R5)C=O (R5 is H or 1-4C alkyl; R6 is 1-4C alkyl; (a) is 2-6; A is Cl, Br or I)]; (m) and (n) are positive integer, m+n=3,000-20,000 and n/m=1/500 to 1/10,000}. In blending, the silicone is preferably dissolved in a volatile oil component such as a volatile low-boiling cyclic silicone oil, a low-boiling chained silicone oil or low-boiling isoparaffinic hydrocarbon.
