To provide a liquid container opening a valve element by detaching a cap body and easily dispensing liquid, when cap body is fitted, closing the valve element but hardly increasing the pressure inside the container and suppressing the drying of an application part in the liquid container dispensing the liquid from the container body to the application part having flexibility through the valve element.

When the cap body is threadedly engaged with the container body, the valve element is pushed by a pushing part of the cap body, and the valve element is closed to protect the flexible application part. When the thread engagement is released for disengage the cap body, the rotating operation is transmitted to the valve element through the pushing part and, even if the solid content of the liquid is hardened, the valve element can be opened by the rotation of the valve element. When the cap body is opened, the valve element is in the opened state, the liquid is pushed from the container body and leaks to the application part.
