To provide a novel method of making a complete denture which enables automatically making of a highly accurate complete denture at any time.

A three-dimensional coordinate data of the intraoral shapes of upper and lower jaws of a patient is obtained by a measurement using a measuring device 2 from a gypsum model 1 prepared from an intraoral impression of the upper and lower jaws sampled from the patient and the shape of a mucosal surface is shown on a graphic display device 4. Then, an artificial dentition of a proper size is selected from among artificial teeth previously registered from the length of the center line of a residual ridge assumed from the shape of the mucosal surface and then, is arranged on the residual ridge on the graphic display device 4 in such a manner that the upper and lower teeth are in an anatomically correct occlusion. Then, a complete denture base is plotted on the graphic display device 4 so that the artificial dentition can be held in place and the resulting three-dimensional coordinate data thereof is fetched and a three-dimensional coordinate data of a bed side of the artificial teeth is called into the complete denture base in a state where the artificial dentition is extracted the complete denture base. Then, a block body composing the complete denture base is cut out by a NC-controlled working machine 5 with more than two axes based on the three-dimensional coordinate data and the artificial dentition is arranged securely on the residual ridge of the complete denture base thus made.
