Abstract:
To provide a work hood used under both negative and positive pressure, capable of preventing harmful substance occurring in use of a negative pressure mode from mixing in air to be supplied into a work chamber in use of a positive pressure mode.SOLUTION: A work hood used under both negative and positive pressure is configured to: in a positive pressure mode, drive only a suction fan 10, and in a negative pressure mode, drive an exhaust fan 29 and also drive the suction fan 10 at lower speed compared to the positive pressure mode; and prevent air containing harmful substance in a work chamber 5 from entering a straightening grid 16 or a plenum chamber 14, by clean airflow blown out from the straightening grid 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
