PURPOSE: To provide a made mold for press molding capable of corresponding to various molding configurations.

CONSTITUTION: A multiplicity of planar bodies 14 are vertically aligned within a frame 12 to form a male mold body 15, and the male mold body 15 is clamped from the right and left by clamping means 16 and, further, a press mold 19 having a lower surface configuration corresponding to the objective molding configuration is arranged on the upper side of the male mold body 15. In this way, a model mold 18 having a mold surface configuration corresponding to the objective molding configuration on the lower side of the male mold body 15, and by loosening the clamping means 16 and pressing down the male mold main 15 by the press mold 19 and, thus, permitting the planar bodies 14 to descend on the model mold 18, the mold surface configuration of the male mold body 15 is made conforming to the mold surface configuration of the model mold 18.
