To obtain a male screw which can improve detaching workability of a threaded part left therein.
A second tool-engaging part 18 is formed in the upper end part 12A of the screw part 12 of the male screw 10. The second tool-engaging part 18 penetrates the upper end part 12A of the screw part 12 along the radial direction of the male screw 10 and the cross-sectional shape of the second tool-engaging part 18 is rectangular. Therefore, if the boundary part of a flange part 14 and the screw part 12 is broken, the second tool-engaging part 18 is exposed on the upper end part 12A of the screw part 12. This structure enables the tip of a slotted screwdriver as a tool to engage with the second tool-engaging part 18 from the same direction as that of a first tool-engaging part 16.
