Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance strength of a coupling part.
SOLUTION: A male side terminal fitting 10 is made to have a constitution in which a body part 12 in a nearly square tube form and a tab 13 are coupled via a coupling part 14. The tab 13 is formed in a nearly square tube form that the right side part is cut and separated, and the mating female side terminal fitting is made to be electrically conducted and contacted with the top and bottom outer faces except a cut and separated part 19. The coupling part 14 is provided with the bottom wall 14a, a pair of sidewalls 14b, 14d erected from both side edges of the bottom wall 14a, and the ceiling wall 14c protruded from the left side wall 14b to rightward and opposed to the bottom wall 14a, and a space between the ceiling wall 14c and the right sidewall 14d is formed in the nearly square tube form, and cut and separated to be continued to the cut and separated part 19 of the tab 13, and the respective walls 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d are tied at the front end of the body part 12.
