PURPOSE: To obtain the plane fastener of a homo type which meets applications of a wide area and is excellent in productivity by implanting thermoplastic resin monofilaments having a mushroom shape at the front ends on a base material consisting of cellulosic materials.
CONSTITUTION: The mushroom parts 4 at the front ends of stem parts 3 are formed bolder than the body parts of stems, by which the engagement of the fastener planes with each other is enabled and the stem parts 3 are made into the engaging parts with the other plane. The reason for using the thermoplastic monofilaments as the blank material of the stem parts 3 lies in that the stem parts need be heated and melted in the case of formation of the mushroom shape in the production stage. The male surface 1 for the plane fastener is formed by implanting the stem part 3 to the base material of cellulosic materials. There is a combination of the male surfaces varying in implantation density, the length of the body parts of the stems and the diameter ratio of the mushroom parts 4/the body parts 5 of the stems with each other in addition to the combination of exactly the same male planes with each other. The dealing with many and diversified kinds of applications for the plane fastener 6 is possible by changing the engaging characteristics by the various combinations. The required and desired fixing and slipproof effect is thus exhibited.
